Counseling Center
The OMCHS Counseling Center is here to support student achievement in the areas of academic, career, personal and social development. The school counselor in partnership with other educators, parents, and the community, facilitates a support system to ensure that all students at Options Middle College High School are challenged and supported to achieve their highest potential. Our goal is to make certain that all of our students develop the necessary skills to succeed in college, career, and life.
The Counseling Center is available during school hours and after school. It provides support and intervention services for students. Referrals to local agencies and specialists may be available for situations beyond the scope of the school setting.
Students are expected to remain with their assigned course schedule for the entire semester. No schedule changes will be made except under very specific and compelling circumstances allowable under the academic program guidelines.
If parents wish to monitor a student’s progress in each course, they can do so by accessing Jupiter Grades. As a reminder, students will receive an official 6-week and 12-week progress report prior to their final grades report card at the end of the semester.
